The SAB Miller Group abseiled indoors for the Amber Foundation April - 2012

Rock and Ice provided technical abseil services for Woking based Miller Brands UK Ltd, the
UK operating company for SABMiller, who showed their daring side recently when 25 members of staff abseiled 18
meters down the atrium of SAB Miller House. The abseil was to raise
money for The Amber Foundation, a charity that
works locally to help homeless young adults build independent lives,
including providing them with accommodation, practical skills and
qualifications.

Miller Brands has worked closely
with The Amber Foundation over the last year and as well as
organising fundraising activities, Miller Brands also donated 15
laptops to the charity to help Amber in its mission to prepare young
adults for work.

Jonathan Bennett, Head of
Corporate Affairs for Miller Brands, comments: “At Miller Brands we
recognise the need for large businesses to establish relationships
with the local community, and we are committed
to working to benefit the Woking area.

“Amber does a great deal of work
to help local young adults in and around Surrey, and we wanted to
organise an event to help raise funds for their cause. This abseil
has raised over £450.”
